April Sales: Looking Good

After a lull in March, I'm getting more sales again!  I sold one of these journals to a lovely woman in Hawaii:

This morning I found that I had sold one of these owl coffee mugs to someone in Germany:

One of my owl designs is featured on this Cute and Funny Owls page.  Check it out.  There are so many really sweet owl designs there.

This has been a great year for me on Zazzle and 2012 isn't even close to half over yet!

I'm working on another bulldog design.  So very soon I'll have more new products to show you.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my work.

New Bulldog Design and Products!

Bulldog Watercolor Puzzle by genxster

I was looking though some old scans of artist trading cards I made last year and found this bulldog watercolor painting.  I remembered how pleased I was with how well the nose came out.  Well, I decided that this might be a charming addition to my shop.

My best dog drawings so far have been of English Bulldog puppies.  I love drawing their sweet brown eyes and those folds around the mouth.  If I continue I may just end up starting a shop devoted to them.  For now I have new English Bulldog gifts items and practical items too including:  laptop and tablet sleeves,  iPad, iPod, and laptop decal skins, and assorted hard-cover phone cases.  In addition to those there are postcards, coffee mugs, ornaments, keychains, and many other fun trinkets.

I'm having such fun building my shop and learning how to promote myself.  I hope you give the shop a visit and check out all my current designs.

New Custom Spiral Note books

Zazzle has introduced so many new products in the last few months.  I've been stocking the shop with things that I think my customers might like.  Here are some notebooks featuring some of my favorite drawings.  There is a particularly intense pen and ink drawing of a grumpy house cat:

an original illustration of a saw-whet owl:

and a black, white, and gray drawing of a pair of metal measuring spoons, a nice book to jot down ingredient lists or keep notes about your favorite recipes:

These 80-page lined notebooks are completely customizable. You can change the text or even the image if you like. Just click the orange "Customize It" button under the image to change the text, or add your own image. That's one of the cool things about Zazzle. You can find great items and fit them to your own tastes.

Happy New Year!

Happy 2012 everyone!  This new year is off to a great start for me.  I had another Zazzle sale yesterday!  This stationery features an illustration of measuring spoons that I drew a few years ago.  Thanks to Linda in Topeka, Kansas for purchasing 25 sheets!

Aren't these pjs cute?  I just sold a pair on CafePress. Many thanks and Merry Christmas to the lovely Maia Peck from Ohio!

Another Zazzle sale!

I sold another Saw Whet Owl design on Zazzle the other day. I find it so gratifying that out of all the zillions of products there someone found one of mine and loved it enough to buy it. I'm so pleased that this design is so popular. I think it's one of my better drawings for 2011.

Zazzle now has BlackBerry cases available!  How cool is that?  When I saw them I went right to work adding some to my shop. The designs shown here are for Blackberry Curve 8520/9300.  These lighweight cases cover the back and corners of your phone with a thin, but sturdy plastic shell.  Even though the phone is covered you still have access to all of the ports and buttons.

If you don't like any of my designs, you can always design a Curve case yourself.

It's easy and fun to do.

One thing to consider is that unlike most other items on Zazzle which are shipped within 24 hours, these cases are made in 3-7 days.

I've just added this new owl design.  I was making cards for an owl swap and I loved how this little owl drawing turned out.  I cleaned it up a bit and added it to my shop.  I hope to have a whole section for bird designs someday, but for now this is the first.
